Who is counseling for?
We believe everyone can benefit from some form of therapy. Here at PBC, we welcome all ages.
Where can I find my insurance information?
To locate your benefits, refer to the back of your insurance card. You can contact your insurance via the number on the back of your card to learn about your mental health benefits.
How long is a typical session?
Therapy sessions last fifty minutes per individual session. Group therapy sessions last 90 minutes.
What if I can't find an appointment time that works?
If you're having trouble scheduling, contact the office directly via email or phone.
What is the cancellation policy?
We request a 24 hour cancellation notice prior to your missed appointment. Should we not receive notice, you will be charged a $65 cancellation fee. Keeping scheduled appointments is an important piece of obtaing goals and in general, our clients want to be here and will jump at an open appointment time. However, we understand emergencies happen. That’s okay too, but please be sure to call.
What if I know someone in crisis?
If you are thinking about harming yourself, or know someone who is, tell someone who can help immediately.
1. Call your doctor.
2. Call 911 or go to a hospital emergency room.
3. Ask a friend or family member for assistance.
4. Call the toll-free, 24-hour hotline of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1.800.273.TALK (1.800.273.8255); TTY: 1.800.799.4TTY (4889) to talk to a trained counselor.
5. Make sure you or the suicidal person is not left alone.
